It all started when the owner found out her daughter had Celiac Disease.
At Thanksgiving dinner she made her daughter a loaf of bread (which she also used for the stuffing) and a lemon meringue pie -all gluten free.
The family enjoyed it so much they encouraged the owner to start a buisness. And after some praying, Sonshines' Café came to be.
During its early operation many breads and deserts were created, such as cakes, cookies, pastries, pancakes and more.
As the demand for high quality, gluten free, nutritious breads and treats grew. A shift in the buisness promopted a change in the type of company needed to keep up with the demand.
We now manufacture many different types of mixes. Brownie, Sandwich, Pizza, Muffin, Pancake/Crepes and Cookie/Pastry Mixes.
As easy as 1, 2, 3, customers can enjoy soft and spongy delicious bread. The cookie mix can be used one for one with ANY conventional recipe, our pastry is just like Gramma used to make, and so easy to work with.

I have worked to come up with many different recipes, such as Brownie mix, Sandwich mix, Pancake Mix, Pastry/Cookie Mix, Muffin Mix and Pizza Mix our other mixes I hope to bring out soon our Dumpling Mix and Tempura Mix. There are so many people out there with food allergies, that is why we strive to make a Gluten, Wheat, Soy, Dairy, Yeast Free line of mixes, our mixes can also be Egg Free recipe on back of bags.
Our brownies have dairy free chocolate chips in them. For a variety when making the brownies you can add chopped nuts, or more chocolate bits for a chewyier brownie bake 5 minutes less. When making crepes let cool then spread whipped cream cheese on crepe add strawberry or blueberry jam over the cream cheese roll up tight, put a tooth pick in about every inch then cut into bites great for quick dessert for company. For our pizza just roll it out add your toppings and bake , no need to wait for the crust to rise it is yeast free and is baked in about 20 minutes.
